Choosing Industrial Sewing Thread
The right thread makes seams last longer and reduces interruptions on the production line.

Look at the material#
Light garment fabric and heavy material need different threads. A thread that is too strong can damage thin fabric, while one that is too fine breaks easily in heavy material.
Spun polyester or nylon#
Spun polyester is common for apparel and uniforms because it sews easily. Nylon thread suits bags, footwear and leather goods, where seams carry more load.
Match the machine and needle#
Thread size needs to suit the needle size and machine settings. A mismatch is a common cause of thread breaks and skipped stitches.
Test on the line#
Try the thread at your real machine speed, then check seam strength and color after washing.
