Anti-Cut Fabric
Some applications demand more from a fabric than conventional textile performance. Anti-cut and cut-resistant fabrics are intended for applications where enhanced resistance to cutting and mechanical hazards is required as part of the product’s protective performance.
Not all cut-resistant materials provide the same level of performance. Material construction, fiber technology, weight, flexibility, and verified test level can influence suitability. Instead of selecting material based on the “anti-cut” label alone, start by identifying the hazards and performance requirements of the finished product.
