Toyobo Fabric for Uniforms
Toyobo is a polyester fabric widely used for uniforms because it stays neat, resists wrinkles, and is easy to care for.

Work and school uniforms are worn all day, so the fabric has to be comfortable and keep its shape. Toyobo is one of the most common choices for this.
What Toyobo is#
Toyobo is made from polyester fibre with a weave that gives it a soft, cotton-like hand. Well-known variants include Toyobo Fodu and Toyobo Royal Mix, which are thick enough not to be see-through.
Why it suits uniforms#
- It resists wrinkles, so uniforms stay neat after hours of sitting.
- It irons more easily than pure cotton.
- It drapes well and feels cool to wear.
Other uses#
Besides uniforms, it is widely used for modest wear such as gamis, tunics, and men's shirts. For larger production runs, make sure supply stays consistent from one order to the next, especially colour and weight.
