Anti-Cut Fabric: What It Offers
Anti-cut fabric is made from high-performance fibers for work around sharp objects. Here is how it works and where it is used.

In some jobs, ordinary clothing does not protect enough. Workers in glass handling, metal assembly and security often face sharp objects.
What anti-cut fabric is#
It is a technical textile made from high-performance polymer fibers. The weave is tight, so knives and other sharp objects have a hard time cutting or tearing through it, well beyond standard cotton or polyester.
Where it is used#
Typical products include:
- Safety gloves
- Arm guards
- Cut-resistant vests
- Inner lining for anti-theft bags
Check the performance level#
Not all cut-resistant materials perform the same. Construction, fiber, weight and a verified test level all affect suitability, so start from the hazards your finished product will face.
If you are making protective products, see our anti-cut fabric and tell us what you need.
